Pecha Kucha & Love Architecture Festival

Lathams took part in the 8th Derby Pecha Kucha event at the Quad on the 27th June.

Hosted by the Nottingham & Derby Society of Architects, this Pecha Kucha involved presenters from the architecture and engineering professions telling people about their passions & interests amongst other things.

Three Lathams staff took part:

Derek Latham spoke about sustainable refurbishment and the importance of breathability in building fabrics.

Simon Chiou described examples of sustainable development in Tanzania and the impact that global warming has on the country.

Richard Pulford took us on a whistle stop tour of Europe featuring, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Brussels

A really successful evening of interesting talks and a great platform for exciting ideas, stories and insights. For more information about the event and NDSA see the links below. Thanks Tristan Poyser for the great photography.
