Lathams has been appointed by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to refurbish part of its London headquarters.
An application has been submitted for listed building consent on a project which will see Lathams re-order and refurbish the lower ground floor lobby areas of the 1930s Grade II* listed building at 66 Portland Place, which was originally designed by George Grey Wornum.
Lathams director Chris Twomey said: “We are delighted to be the architects working on a building which is so central to our profession in the UK.
“Lathams has a well-established reputation for the creative renewal of historic and listed buildings, and that expertise is critical when looking to reorder and refurbish a building of this kind in the heart of London.”
